Numerical simulation output of climate feedback effect inducedby dust aerosol
Clicks:556
DOI
Key words Dust climate effect; dust-cloud interaction; Regional climate change
Related data The global climate model coupled with the interaction of dust and ice cloud (CAM5) was used to study the climate feedback effectsinduced by the change of dust aerosol emissions. The horizontal resolution is 1.25x0.9 (288x192), and the numerical simulations include three groups of experiments: Dust experiment,Nodustexperiment, and Noiceexperiment. The numerical simulations run for 25 years. The first five years are model equilibrium, and the last 20 years are data analysis.
Data description Xiaoning Xie, Xiaodong Liu, Zhengguo Shi, Xinzhou Li, Xiaoxun Xie, Hui Sun, Jianjun He, Huizheng Che, Xiaoye Zhang, Zhisheng An, Dié Wang, Yangang Liu, 2023: Sharp decline of dust events induces regional wetting over arid and semi-arid Northwest China in the NCAR Community Atmosphere model, Environmental Research Letters, accepted.
