CCSM3 Modeling output of global monthly winds on 3 different paleoclimate stages. Brief description: Using the coupled climate model CCSM3 of NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research), this dataset contains global monthly winds (u-wind and v-wind) 3 different paleoclimate stages, which are the last glacial maximum period, the Holocene Megathermal period and the present days (before the industrial revolution). For model integration, orbital elements, global ice volume distribution, greenhouse gas concentrations and other boundary conditions are all derived from PMIP2(Ref. https://pmip.lsce.ipsl.fr). And the horizontal resolution is T42 (about 2.8°×2.8°).
